Big portions and delicious food! We ordered takeout and didn't realize how big the portions were. We've got enough for a couple of dinners and a lunch or 2.

My husband and I stopped here on a whim and we are so glad we did. Some of the best middle eastern food you will ever have. The portions are huge. We always get 2-3 meals out of our orders and we are not small eaters. Very good service. Excellent hummus.

Sahara Restaurant Been meaning to try out this St. Clair Shores gem. We put this establishment on our must try list a year ago. This past weekend we finally made it in and it was a nice atmosphere, many pictures in the wall of scenes and scenic ruins of Lebanon. We ordered a sample platter and it came with soup or salad. She took the fattoush salad while I chose the lentil soup. Both looked good and after trying our first course I must say the soup and salad were amazing. We ate some baba and hummus while we impatiently waited for our main sample platter. And when it showed up it was a very attractive presentation. So we dug in and enjoyed a taste of the Middle East, I won't go on too long as I am guilty of from time to time. As we speak of time all I can say is after a long year of waiting to try out Sahara Restaurant, it was worth the wait
